Questions & Trust
Straight Answers
Buying music directly should feel simple and safe. Here’s exactly how it works.
When I buy a song, do I actually own it?+
Yes. When you purchase a track you own a permanent, high-quality download to keep, play, and back up on your own devices — it stays yours whether or not you keep an account here. Buying grants a personal-use license; it does not transfer the songwriting or master rights, which remain with Al West and Masterpiece Recording Group.
How do downloads work?+
After checkout, your purchase appears in your account library and you can download the audio file directly. There’s no app to install and no expiry — the file is yours to save wherever you like.
What’s the difference between owning and streaming?+
Streaming on platforms like Spotify is great for discovery, but you’re renting access and the artist earns fractions of a cent per play. Buying directly here means you own the music outright and your support goes straight to an independent artist — the way it should.
What does membership include?+
Membership is a monthly subscription that unlocks the full listening experience and member-only moments as the catalog grows. You can cancel anytime from your account — there’s no long-term commitment.
What is your refund policy?+
Because purchases are instant digital downloads, they’re generally final once downloaded. If something isn’t working — a file won’t play or you were charged in error — email us and we’ll make it right.
Is this really Al West’s official store?+
Yes. This is the official home of Al West and Masterpiece Recording Group. Every song, book, and release here comes directly from the artist and label — not a third-party reseller.
Is my payment secure?+
Payments are processed by Stripe, a globally trusted payment provider. Your card details are handled securely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
How do I get in touch?+
For anything at all — a purchase, a question, or just to say the music reached you — email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you.
